Biography
Pollock served as The Aquabats' guitarist since the group's inception in 1994, recording on all of their studio releases up to 2005's Charge!!. In the early 2000s, as The Aquabats experienced a period of inactivity while in between record labels, Pollock began a full-time job managing a custom woodworking business. In 2006, realizing his work schedule could not accommodate The Aquabats' plans for extensive touring following the release of Charge!!, Pollock chose to part ways with the band to focus on his business, eventually being succeeded by Ian Fowles.
Pollock has continued to make occasional onstage appearances with the band, notably for most Southern Californian shows and several major events such as the 2010 Bamboozle festival and the 2011 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Pollock also contributed additional guitar tracks to the band's 2010 EP Radio Down! and their 2011 LP Hi-Five Soup!.
In 2008, Pollock joined Orange County pop punk trio Supernova as a temporary replacement following the departure of long-time guitarist Jodey Lawrence. Shortly after his debut, he was announced as a full-time member, retaining his former title of "Chainsaw".
Pollock lives in Newport Beach, California with his wife and daughter.
