The Ministry Years Volume 2 (1980-1982) is a two-disc 1999 CD release which comprises the second half of Green's recording career, including two previously unreleased tracks. Included with the CD package is a 19-page booklet insert by David Hazard, entitled "The Ministry Years, 1980-1982", which includes a couple of short chapters about Green's early life and revival and concludes with several chapters on his remaining life story based on several selected songs.

Disc 1 of the CD release also carries with it the Enhanced CD (ECD) label. In addition to songs, Disc 1 includes the entire text from the Keith Green biography "No Compromise" by his widow, Melody Green, in two file formats: Rich Text Format (RTF) and Portable Document Format (PDF).
