Music video

The music video shows the band performing in a high school, beginning with lead singer Joel Madden breaking into the principal's office and announcing over the loudspeaker that the song is dedicated to "every kid who ever got picked last in gym class," "every kid who never had a date to no school dance," and "everyone who's ever been called a freak." The band then proceeds to wreak havoc on the school, with students running out of class to see them perform, after guitarist Billy Martin plugged the band's sound system into the principal's microphone. The clip ends with the band members trying to rearrange the letters on the school notice board to spell out "GOOD CHARLOTTE." The video was shot at Lorne Park Secondary School, in Mississauga and directed by Nigel Dick.
