metre s, he was part of theArgentina national football team between 1994 and 1996, winning the golden medal at the 1995Pan American Games and the 1996 Summer Olympics.Carlos Bossio also became on May 12, 1996 the first goalkeeper in Argentine football to score a header, after connecting a corner kick in a match between Estudiantes and Racing Club for the conclusive draw in one goal.
In 2007 Bossio played all 19 games in Lanús' Apertura 2007 winning team, helping the club to win their first ever top flight league title.
