Standley Lake High School is a public secondary school operated by Jefferson County School District R-1 in Westminster, Colorado, United States. The school is located near 104th Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard. The high school opened in 1988 and a new addition to the southeast corner was opened in 2002. Area rivalries are limited to Pomona High School and Ralston Valley High School in nearby Arvada, Colorado.

Campus

The original campus buildings were designed by LKA Partners. The design won an Honor Award by the American Institute of Architects Colorado South Chapter in 1991.

Standley Lake's gymnasium is referred to as "The Swamp."

Extracurricular activities

In 2002, the school's speech and debate team qualified two competitors to the National Forensics League's National Speech and Debate Tournament, and repeated the feat four more times. Members to attend the National Debate Tournament include: Guy McHendry (2002), David Okada(2002, 2003), Lissette Gonzalez (2004), and Katie Williams (2004). Teacher George Barker won a Colorado Teacher of the Year Award in 2001 and Chris Nissen, who graduated from Standley Lake High School in 2003, won the 2003 Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award by the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.
