Dennis R. Patrick (born June 1, 1951) served as Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission from April 18, 1987 to August 7, 1989. He had been a member of the Commission since December, 1983, and had held positions in the Reagan administration since January, 1982. Patrick was only 35 when he became head of the FCC.[1]
Before entering government service, he was an attorney with the firm of Adams, Duque & Hazeltine in Los Angeles.
Mr. Patrick graduated from Occidental College (AB, 1973) and UCLA (JD, 1976). He was born on June 1, 1951, in Los Angeles.
