Ghana Telecom University College (GTUC) is an accredited university founded in 2005 by Ghana Telecom, the national telecommunications company.

The university was established to provide graduate programs and degree/diploma programs particularly in telecommunications engineering and information and communications technologies. It also offers certificate programs, with courses that count toward a bachelor's degree. GTUC's campus is located in the Tesano section of Accra, Republic of Ghana. President

GTUC's President is Dr. Osei Darkwa (odarkwa@gtuc.edu.gh), who was educated in Ghana and Norway and earned his Ph.D. at Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Dr. Darkwa taught for 11 years at the University of Illinois at Chicago, before returning to Ghana to work on the development of strategies and plans for expanding education for ICTs, which figure prominently in Ghana's future in the global economy.
