----

In detail: Robert Mawire graduated from Worldview College, Tasmania, Australia and completed advanced studies both in the United States and Australia.

Robert Mawire is the chairman and CEO of the Board of WRNO (shortwave), having acquired the license for that formerly defunct station. He subsequently renamed it WRNO Worldwide Shortwave Radio, and the station is scheduled to be back on the air in the spring of 2007 after antenna repairs from the Hurricane Katrina damage are completed. He is also the founder of Good News Israel, Jewish Airlifts, Hope for Africa, Good News World Outreach (a church in Arlington, Texas, which he pastors), Gerizim Technologies, and “Project Now” (an airlift of Russian Jews to Israel).

Dr. Mawire is a co-founder of Ariel (city), a Smart City in Israel, and helped secure the construction of infrastructure within that now state-of-the-art settlement. In that same location, he co-founded Good News Ariel FM106 radio station and established Good News TV station in Ariel, Israel. Consequently, he is highly regarded by local and national leaders in Israel; is often chosen by Israeli leaders to speak on behalf of Israel in various conferences worldwide, such as the Jerusalem Summit Africa held South Africa in June 2006. (See: [http://www.jerusalemsummit.org/eng/index_js_africa_participants.php] for his name among the list of participants.) Beyond Israel alone, Robert Mawire maintains strategic alliances with many foreign countries, including Mexico, and several in Africa. Dr. Mawire is actively engaged in ongoing political negotiations on Capitol Hill in the United States with regard to the development of and humanitarian aid to the nation of Benin in Africa.

As a Christian leader, Robert Mawire has established and maintains ongoing church leadership in many countries, and often uses this influence to assist him with his evangelism and humanitarian endeavors. One of the most notable past projects is the work Dr. Mawire accomplished in Mozambique, in cooperation with the administrations of United States presidents, Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush. Dr. Mawire organized and facilitated humanitarian aid to Mozambique in 1987, which is partially credited for the collapse of Communism within that nation; the first such collapse in forty years. Robert Mawire subsequently received commendation for his international endeavors from President Ronald Reagan. Moreover, Dr. Mawire was instrumental in the publishing and distribution of Portuguese bibles in Mozambique to support the continued spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in that nation prior to and after the collapse of the Communism therein.

Dr. Mawire has also published and distributed bibles for public schools in communist Zimbabwe.
