Aland ( _kn. ಆಳಂದ) is a town in Gulbarga district in the state of Karnataka, India. It is also the headquarters of Aland Taluk.

Geography

Aland Taluk borders Gulbarga Taluk of Gulbarga district to the east, Afzalpur Taluk of Gulbarga district to the south, Basavakalyan Taluk of Bidar ditrict to the north-west, Akalkot Taluk of Solapur district of Maharashtra to the west, and Umarga Taluk of Osmanabad district of Maharashtra to the north.

Amarja river flows through this Taluk.
