Shuya River (Kostroma Oblast)

The Shuya River ( _ru. Шуя) is a river in Kostroma Oblast in Russia, a left tributary of the Nemda River (Volga's basin). The length of the river is 170 km. The area of its basin is 1,700 km². It freezes up in November and stays icebound until April.
