Southwark Towers was a mid rise building at 32 London Bridge Street near
London Bridge station , inSouthwark ,London . Completed in1976 little of the building remains, as it is all under demolition to make way for The Shard, which at 310 meters will be the tallest building in the United Kingdom.The building was formerly occupied by
PricewaterhouseCoopers , the world's largest professional services firm. Despite a modern-looking and lavish reception area, the building and its decorations became dated. Lifts in the building were slow and struggled to cope with traffic during peak hours. Nevertheless, some wings of the upper floors enjoyed spectacular views ofTower Bridge and the City. The building's tenants have now moved to nearby sites in Union Street and Hay's Galleria.outhwark Towers, Philadelphia
Southwark Towers also referred to three residential towers in Philadelphia, two of which have been demolished on
