Midway Independent School District is a public school district based in Waco, Texas (USA).
The district is located in central McLennan County, and serves the cities of Hewitt, Woodway, and parts of Waco, Crawford, Lorena, McGregor and Robinson, as well as some unincorporated areas of McLennan County. In parlance the district is referred to as Waco Midway to give others an idea of where the district is located.
In 2010 and 2011, the school district was rated "recognized" by the Texas Education Agency.[1]
