Red Deer Midget Chiefs in theAlberta Midget Hockey League . He also spent five seasons in theWestern Hockey League with hometown Red Deer Rebels. In 1999-2000 he was signed by theVancouver Canucks as a free agent. While he was with the Canucks for three seasons, he only appeared in 4 games. The rest of the seasons he played for minor league teams (Syracuse, Kansas City & Winnipeg).In 2002-2003 he was traded to the
Toronto Maple Leafs forTomas Mojzis . He only played one game for the Maple Leafs. He was sent to bothThe St. John's Maple Leafs & The Toronto Marlies .Leeb played the 2007–2008 season in Germany for ERC Ingolstadt.For the upcoming season he will be playing for the Sinupret Ice Tigers in Nuremberg, Germany.His brother Greg Leeb is playing there for already five years.
