KRKS are a pair of Christian-formatted radio stations serving the Denver-Boulder area. The combo are both owned by Salem Communications and offers separate programming. Their on air slogan is "Denver's Christian Station." Studios are located in Aurora, Colorado.

KRKS-AM, which broadcasts at 990 kHz with a transmitter power of 5,000 watts daytime and 390 watts night. The city of license is Denver, Colorado. The station offers programs featuring traditional religious and inspirational teachings, sermons, gospel fare and live church broadcasts.

KRKS-FM, which broadcasts at 94.7 MHz with an ERP of 100kW and is licensed to Lafayette, Colorado, features continuous Christian talk fare (Like Focus on the Family and satellite programming from Salem) 24/7, as well as Christian Rock Music on Saturday night, and Contemporary Christian Music on Sunday morning. KRKS-FM which signed on the air in 1975 as KBVL, was originally Smooth Jazz KHIH from 1986 to 1993.
