The Nicobar Megapode or Nicobar Scrubfowl ("Megapodius nicobariensis") is a megapode found in some of the Nicobar Islands.

They have been found to feed on the seeds of "Macaranga peltata" to a large extent followed by insects, snails, crustaceans and reptiles. [Sivakumar, K. & Sankaran R.
