Kim Jong-Il (athlete)

Kim Jong-Il (born 11 September 1962) is a retired South Korean long jumper, best known for winning two gold medals at the Asian Games. He also competed in the Olympics twice, and was the first Korean track and field athlete to have made Olympic finals.

Kim is currently the men's and women's track and field coach at the Calvin College. He is also a professor in the Calvin College Health, Physical Education, Recreation, Dance and Sport department.
