The Rest of the Story

The Rest of the Story

"The Rest of the Story" is a Monday-through-Saturday radio program hosted by Paul Harvey. Beginning as a part of his newscasts during the Second World War and then premiering as its own series on the ABC Radio Networks on May 10, 1976, "The Rest of the Story" comprises factual stories on a variety of subjects with a surprise or "twist" saved till the end. From its inception, the scripts for the series have been drafted and the broadcast produced by Harvey's son, "Paul Harvey Jr.", who also reads the stories on-air at least once a week. Harvey always concludes by saying, "And now you know…the rest of the story."
