He only started his senior season at theUniversity of Virginia as he was the back-up to future All-ProDon Majkowski , but managed to lead theVirginia Cavaliers to a winning season and a victory overBrigham Young University in theAll-American Bowl , where he was named the game's Most Valuable Player. Secules was also named First Team All Atlantic Coast Conference in 1987.Secules spent most of his career as a back-up to
Dan Marino . He may be best known for the nickname Scott "Won't You Let Me Take You on a" Secules given to him byESPN broadcasterChris Berman .
