Dallas Cowboys in the 6th round of the1988 NFL Draft and subsequently traded to the Dolphins. He only started his senior season at theUniversity of Virginia as he was the back-up to future All-ProDon Majkowski , but managed to lead theVirginia Cavaliers to a winning season and a victory overBrigham Young University in theAll-American Bowl , where he was named the game's Most Valuable Player. Secules was also named First Team All Atlantic Coast Conference in 1987.Secules spent most of his career as a back-up to
Dan Marino . He may be best known for the nickname Scott "Won't You Let Me Take You on a" Secules given to him byESPN broadcasterChris Berman .
