Remote Control Records

Remote Control Records was established by Harvey Saward (Shock Records’ International A&R Manager for ten years) and Steve Cross (previously General Manager of a division of FMRFact|date=February 2007) in early 2001. The company provides marketing services, promotional support and label management to a roster of international and Australian artists and labels.

Beggars Banquet, Dot Dash Recordings, 4AD, Matador Records, Too Pure, XL Recordings, Unstable Ape Records and Nervous Jerk.

International Acts

include: Radiohead, Blonde Redhead, Basement Jaxx, The White Stripes, Cat Power, Peaches, TV on the Radio, Beirut, Devendra Banhart, Adele, M.I.A., Dizzee Rascal, and The New Pornographers.

Australian Acts

Wolf & Cub, Snowman, Ned Collette, New Buffalo, Young and Restless, Deloris, Macromantics, Dirty Three and Sly Hats.

In mid-2004, Remote Control set up Dot Dash as a new label for Australian artists.
