Hell on Wheels (2007 film)

"Hell on Wheels" is a documentary film about a group of tattooed rock and roll chicks who struggle to resurrect the sport of roller derby. The women find themselves locked in a workers-versus-management clash and a rift forms in the ranks, ripping the league in two. The two leagues overcome all obstacles to revel in undreamed of success, inspiring dozens of other leagues to start up across the US and launching a roller derby revival.

"Hell on Wheels" had its World Premiere at the Paramount Theater in Austin, Texas for the South by Southwest Film Festival on March 11th, 2007.
