"Reviews in American History" is an academic journal founded in 1973. Each issue presents substantive reviews of more than two-dozen new books on thet topic of American history. It also features retrospectives on influential titles of the past. All areas of American history, including political, military, economic, gender, religious, social, cultural, legal, intellectual, artistic, and philosophical. The publication aims to incorporate both traditional and more recently encountered themes in US history. The editor is Dr. Louis P. Masur of Trinity College.
The journal is published quarterly in March, June, September, and December. Circulation is 2,875 and the average length of an issue is 200 pages.
