It is situated on the river Enz, 10 km southwest of Pforzheim.
The town has three stops, Neuenbürg, Neuenbürg Süd and Neuenbürg Freibad, on route S6 of the Karlsruhe Stadtbahn, which operates over the Enztalbahn railway.[2]
