Albert Robertson

Albert John Robertson (born: - died: ) was a politician from Alberta, Canada.

Robertson was elected to the Alberta Legislature in the 1905 Alberta general election. He was only one of two Conservative Party candidates elected in the 1905 general election.

He would end up serving as the first Leader of the Official Opposition and the 2nd Leader of the provincial Conservative Party after former leader Richard Bennett was defeated.

Robertson would run for a second term in office in the 1909 Alberta general election. He switched from his old electoral district of High River and ran in the new Nanton riding. He was sound soundly defeated by John M. Glendenning.

Robertson attempted to win back his seat by running in the 1913 Alberta general election. He ran in the new Hand Hills electoral district, but was once again defeated by Liberal candidate Robert Eaton.
