IBC Studios

The IBC Recording Studios (IBC: "International Broadcasting Company") were recording studios in 35 Portland Place, London, England. After the Second World War it was the address of the leading independent studio in London and the British Isles. In the 1960/70s the studios become internationally famous after being used by some of the biggest recording artists in the world.

In the 1980s, Chas Chandler bought the studios and renamed them Barn Studios.

Recording Artists

Artists who have recorded at IBC studios include The Beatles, The Bee Gees, The Who, The Small Faces, The Kinks, Status Quo, The Easybeats, Deep Purple, Slade, London, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Jimi Hendrix, The Depressions, Jimmy Page, The Rolling Stones, Harmony Grass, Thunderclap Newman, The Equals, Golden Earring, Cream, Adam Faith, Billy J Kramer, The Action, Duane Eddy and Tony Blackburn.
