HMAS Townsville

Two ships of the Royal Australian Navy have been named for the city of Townsville, Queensland.
* HMAS "Townsville" (J 205) was a Bathurst class corvette that entered service in 1941 and was sold for scrap in 1956.
* HMAS "Townsville" (FCPB 205) was a Fremantle class patrol boat launched in 1981.
