George Aaron McCloud (born May 27, 1967 in Daytona Beach, Florida), is an American former professional basketball player who was selected by the Indiana Pacers in the 1st round (7th overall) of the 1989 NBA Draft. A 6'6" guard-forward from Florida State University, McCloud played 12 years in the NBA from 1989-2002. He played for the Pacers, Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets.

McCloud's best year as a pro came during the 1995-96 season as a member of the Mavericks, appearing in 79 games and averaging 18.9 ppg. In his NBA career, McCloud played in 766 games and scored a total of 6,925 points. McCloud was a productive three point shooter throughout his career. At NBA All-Star Weekend in 1996, he appeared in the Three-point Shootout but lost in the semifinal round. McCloud shares the record for three-point attempts in an NBA game, with 20. McCloud was good friends with teammate Antonio McDyess having played with him in both Phoenix and Denver.

McCloud attended Mainland High School in Daytona Beach and Florida State University in Tallahassee.
