Early life
Chelsy Davy was born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, to Charles, a safari farmer, and Beverley "Bev" Davy, a former Miss Coca-Cola Rhodesia. [3] She has a younger brother, Shaun Davy.[4][5] Concerning his reported relationship with Zimbabwe's dictator, Mugabe, Mr. Davy told a magazine reporter that his daughter's relationship with the prince had caused "a spate of rubbish" to be published about his family in the media. Of his relationship with one of Mugabe’s key associates, he told The Daily Telegraph: "I am in business. Not politics."[6][7] Chelsy Davy grew up at her family's homestead in the Lemco Safari Area.[8][8][9]
In September 2007, Davy moved to England to be closer to her then boyfriend, Prince Harry.[10]
Then after the break up ended she moved back to Africa.
Career
In December 2008, she interned for Farrer & Company. It was reported that Davy hoped to receive a permanent position at the firm, but instead took a second gap year.[11] In 2009, Davy transitioned as an intern for another company, Allen & Overy.[12]
Relationship with Prince Harry
Davy had what the press described as a "turbulent" relationship with Prince Harry, the younger son of the Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales, from late 2004 to January 2009, when the pair mutually agreed to end their relationship for the fourth time.[13] Davy announced the end of the relationship over Facebook. In 2011, addressing rumours of a possible reconciliation, Prince Harry publicly professed himself as "100 per cent single," revealing that he had no time for a relationship of any kind.[14][15][16][17]
