Álvaro Novo Ramírez, Novo (born 16 May 1978 in Córdoba, Andalusia), is a Spanish football player who is currently unattached. His usual position is right midfielder.

During his career, Novo represented Córdoba CF (in which youth ranks he grew in), CD Carabanchel, RCD Mallorca (his most successful years, where he was instrumental in helping the Balearic Islands side to a UEFA Champions League participation and a Spanish Cup triumph (2003)), Atlético Madrid and Real Sociedad.
