Centennial Baseball League

The Centennial Baseball League (formerly the Border Baseball Series) is a semi-professional baseball series in the southwestern United States. The League is a member of the International Baseball Foundation along with National Baseball Congress and was founded by Bob Lipp. In 1985 Lipp was co-owner of the Wichita Broncos, and founded the NBC Dodge City Desperados in 2005 along with the Bisbee Kings in 2006, who play in the Centennial League. Lipp has attempted to create different independent baseball leagues, one, the Arizona-Mexico League, played a short season in 2003 and others, the Piedmont League and Southwestern League, never played a game.

For the 2007 season, became known as the Centennial Baseball League.

The teams played a 24 game schedule with 8 games against each other. Additionally, exhibition games were played against NBC Teams from the Pacific Southwest League and other semipro leagues from the area. The San Luis Athleticos played two exhibition games against the professional Yuma Scorpions of the Golden League.

Each team played each other four times at home and four times on the road to make a 24 game schedule.
Patrick Hill was been named Tournament Director for the 2007 season. Hill has been the commissionerof the West Valley NABA for four years.
