The De Soto School District (USD 232) is a public school district in northwestern Johnson County, Kansas, United States. Named after De Soto, Kansas, the district encompasses over 100 square miles (260 km2) serving the city of De Soto and approximately 60% of Shawnee, 40% of Lenexa, 10% of Olathe and other smaller towns around those areas. Most of its students live in the east (Shawnee and Lenexa).

The district has two high schools:
- De Soto High School in the west and is the smaller high school
- Mill Valley High School in the east and is the larger of the two
and three middle schools:
- Lexington Trails Middle School
- Monticello Trails Middle School
- Mill Creek Middle School
Elementary schools
The district has seven elementary schools:
- Belmont Elementary School
- Clear Creek Elementary School
- Horizon Elementary School
- Mize Elementary School
- Prairie Ridge Elementary School
- Riverview Elementary School
- Starside Elementary School
Future plans
The district plans to build a high school to accompany the new middle school and the two new elementary schools, and expand the current high schools, this is unlikely unless the bond is passed.
