Bob Weeks (born
April 16 ,1960 inMontreal ,Quebec ) is the editor ofScoregolf Magazine. In addition, he serves as host for SCOREGolf TV and SCOREGolf Radio, and is the golf analyst for TSN. He is also the curling columnist for theGlobe and Mail , and editor of theOntario Curling Report.Weeks joined SCOREGolf as associate editor in October
1987 . He was promoted to editor in1992 .Books
He has authored four books: The World’s Greatest Golf Courses;
The Brier : A History of Canada’s Most Celebrated Curling Championship;Curling For Dummies (Vols 1 and 2); and Hurry Hard: the Russ Howard Story, which he co-authored with Russ Howard. He is currently writing Curling, Etc., which is similar to an Uncle John's Book except for curling. He is a two-time winner of the Scotty Harper Award for the top curling story inCanada .History
Weeks grew up in
Montreal but spent most summers inPrince Edward Island where his family’s roots are located. A fifth-generation Canadian, Weeks’ great-grandfather was one of the founders of the first golf course in PEI. His grandfather, Major-General Ernest Geoffrey Weeks, was a highly decorated military hero who went on to become Adjutant-General of theCanadian Forces .A graduate of the
