metre s (6446 feet).It is situated on National Highway NH22 (on the Hindustan-Tibet Road), a 32 km away fromShimla , and is a town of five 'Ghats' (or ridges): Rahi Ghat, Deori Ghat, Prem Ghat, Janoghat,and Bagaghat.There are many villages which come under the jurisdiction of Theog. Chikhar is the most famous village in Theog.
People
Pahari is the main language spoken among people in Theog. The main occupation of the people in Theog is growing vegetable which include Cabbage, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Potato and Capsicum and also growing fruits which include Apples, Peach, Cherry and Apricots.
