At the close of voting, it had received 2 points (all from UK), placing 22nd in a field of 23 , beating only Spain.The song is a ballad, with Marlain singing about how to ensure that one's lover returns the feelings.
It was succeeded as Cypriot representative at the 2000 Contest by Voice with "
