William M. Greathouse (born 1919 in
Van Buren, Arkansas ) is a minister andemeritus general superintendent in theChurch of the Nazarene .Dr. Greathouse served as a pastor in the Church of the Nazarene from 1938 until 1963 when he was elected president of
Trevecca Nazarene College inNashville, Tennessee ; he served until 1968. At that time he was elected president ofNazarene Theological Seminary inKansas City, Missouri . He served there until 1976, when he was elected General Superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene. He retired from this position in 1989.He attended
