Perur is a panchayat town in Coimbatore district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

Geography

Perur is located at coord|10.97|N|76.9|E| [ [http://www.fallingrain.com/world/IN/25/Perur.html Falling Rain Genomics, Inc - Perur] ] . It has an average elevation of 418 metres (1371 feet). Perur is at a distance of 10 km from Coimbatore city. It is located enroute to Siruvani river. The famous Pateeswarar temple &andThe Veerabathraswamy templeis also located here.
