Palladam is a municipality in Coimbatore district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

Geography

Palladam is located at coord|10.98|N|77.3|E| [ [http://www.fallingrain.com/world/IN/25/Palladam.html Falling Rain Genomics, Inc - Palladam] ] . It has an average elevation of 325 metres (1066 feet).

It is Close to both the major cities, Coimbatore (38 km away), manchester of south india and Tirupur (15 km away) which is called as 'Dollar City' of Tamil nadu and lies on the routes of Tirupur-Coimbatore, Tirupur-Udumalpet, Tirupur-Pollachi, Coimbatore-Madurai, Coimbatore-trichy.
