Ducis Rodgers

Ducis Rodgers is currently the sports anchor for ESPNews. Rodgers was the sports director, lead sports anchor, and sports reporter for WCBS-TV (CBS 2) in New York City, the flagship station of CBS Television Network, before leaving the station on January 29, 2009, after the station slashed the sports department from three anchors to one in order to "cut costs." ^[1] He was replaced by weekend sports anchor Sam Ryan.

Prior to this position, he had been morning sports anchor for a year, and before that weekend sports anchor and host of "Sports Rap Live," the sports show that preceded "Sports Sunday." Rodgers took over the now defunct "Sports Sunday" when lead sports anchor Chris Wragge became a weekday news anchor at the station, when Rodgers assumed all of his roles.

Before he came to WCBS, Rodgers was lead sports anchor for WSVN in Miami, Florida for eight years.

Ducis grew up in a western suburb of Chicago in Illinois

Rodgers is now an anchor on ESPN First and 10.
