Khair is a city and a municipal board in Aligarh district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

As of 2001 India census [GR|India] , Khair had a population of 27,661. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Khair has an average literacy rate of 54%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 62%, and female literacy is 44%.
