Harsud was a town and a nagar panchayat in Khandwa in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

Geography

Harsud was located at coord|22.1|N|76.73|E|. [ [http://www.fallingrain.com/world/IN/35/Harsud.html Falling Rain Genomics, Inc - Harsud] ] It has an average elevation of 244 metres (800 feet). Now it is not on that location due to Indira Sagar Dam. That town has been shifted to Chhanera(New Harsud). Old Harsud is submerged.
