Gord Steeves

Gord Steeves is a City Councillor in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He was elected to St. Vital ward in a by-election after long time councillor Al Golden was forced from office.

Steeves ran under the Liberal banner in 1995 for a seat in the provincial legislature but was defeated by David Newman. He later ran for school trustee in St. Vital in 1998 and won. He held that position until his election to council two years later.
