Association of Business Executives

The Association of Business Executives (ABE) is a United Kingdom membership body, based in London, that offers internationally recognised qualifications in business and management. It has 44,000 students and members in 90 countries around the world.

It is one of a number of professional bodies in the UK (others include ACCA, CIMA, CIM and AAT), but the only one of these with a particular focus on development of a broad range of business and management skills.

ABE was set up in 1973 to meet the need for business and management training in the UK. It soon found new markets in other countries around the world, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa. It has continued to offer pathways to degrees from countries like the UK and the US for those students who could not otherwise afford to do so and has some 40 agreements with international universities for ABE students to enter directly onto a Bachelors or Masters degree.

ABE qualifications include:Business ManagementHuman Resource ManagementBusiness Information SystemsMarketingFinancial ManagementTravel, Tourism and Hospitality

The Business Management and Human Resource Management streams have recently been accredited by QCA at the following levels;

Certificate - NQF Level 3 (equivalent to A-Levels).Diploma - NQF Level 5 (equivalent to HND's).Advanced Diploma - NQF Level 6 (equivalent to Bachelors Degrees and other graduate diplomas).

ABE's fees are extremely low and have not increased for four years, meaning that students can enter onto a degree programme for thousands of pounds less. ABE's head office is located in London, and there are ABE representatives in internationally, including in Malaysia, Singapore and Pakistan.
