Tamar Gordon is an associate professor of anthropology in the Language, Literature, and Communications Department at
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute .Educational background
Gordon received her Ph.D from the
University of California at Berkeley.Interests
The majority of Gordon's work is focused on the cultural analysis of contemporary religions and their intersections with local and global modernities. She also studies Polynesian and American societies. Her other interests entail:
