Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) is the national infrastructure body for the Third Sector in Wales. There is also a county level infrastructure body, in each county, called a County Voluntary Council.
The equivalent infrastructure and representative body for voluntary organisations in Scotland is SCVO. In Northern Ireland it is NICVA and in England it is NCVO.
Part of WCVA's remit is to work on volunteering issues and the equivalent bodies in other parts of the UK are: Volunteering England; Volunteer Development Scotland; Volunteer Development Agency in Northern Ireland.
