Liscombe was a key member of the 1943
Stanley Cup champions, and scored 36 goals. He shares the team record for most goals in a playoff game and most points in a game, and was the first pro hockey player to record 100 points in a season.He spent the rest of his career in the
American Hockey League , and was a two-time Most Valuable Player. In 1949, Liscombe helped theProvidence Reds win theCalder Cup . He died of complications fromleukemia .Awards & Achievements
