- Carl Liscombe
Liscombe was a key member of the 1943
Stanley Cupchampions, and scored 36 goals. He shares the team record for most goals in a playoff game and most points in a game, and was the first pro hockey player to record 100 points in a season.
He spent the rest of his career in the
American Hockey League, and was a two-time Most Valuable Player. In 1949, Liscombe helped the Providence Redswin the Calder Cup. He died of complications from leukemia.
