Andrea Brymer (born 1972) is one of the main anchors of news programme, "
North Tonight /North Today", which is shown on STV North.Brymer hails from the
Angus town ofBrechin . After attending high school, Brymer graduated with a B.A. Hons degree in Media Communications from Queen Margaret College inEdinburgh .Brymer's television career started at
Scottish Television (STV Central) in 1994 where she worked as a news assistant before becoming a features reporter on lunchtime "Scotland Today". She then became a presenter of breakfast bulletins in 1996 before becoming a presenter theSky Scottish version of "Scotland Today ", alongside John Mackay. Andrea became a main presenter of lunchtime "Scotland Today" after Sky Scottish was closed down.In 2003, Brymer moved back to the north east of Scotland and became a newsreader and reporter for "North Tonight/North Today" on STV North. Since June 2007, she's also been a regular presenter/producer of STV North's online video blog, "Northern Exposure".
