Michigan . He is of Lebanese and Italian descent and he is also a long time friend ofEminem . He's also a producer and has worked with a variety of artists. He was signed toArea Code Management andDTW Records , but left forGeffen Records to release his debut album.Career
He started out in the hip-hop scene in 1993. He began a friendship with an old schoolmate Champtown after a chance run-in at a Death Row Records show at Club VIP International in 1994. Hush and Champtown went to Kellwood Adult Education together in the early nineties. After countless attempts to rise in the scene with partner Ill, Champtown was at a stall, so Hush and Ill formed a group called Da Ruckus which was a name revived from an earlier group Hush formed with a friend named Nacho. Da Ruckus was signed to Federation Records after success of their iindependent release called "Quiet As Kept". The 2 went on to release "Episode 1" which garnered the attention nationally, and was given place in hiphopsite.com's Top Ten Independent albums in 1997. It featured a then unknown Eminem on the classic "We Shine" and it also featured the Detroit classic "150 MC's".
With his creative writing expanding Hush chose to move into the solo field after producing and writing material in abundance. Since 2000, he has being moving up the music ranks. Between 2000-2002, he was signed to DTW Records as an artist and produced the bootleg album "There Goes The Neighborhood" which had created a buzz in the city. That was short lived however.
He is credited on
Eminem 's famous "The Slim Shady EP " (1997) and performed alongside Eminem and others in concert long before any of the artist were well known. Hush is a longtime collborator withKid Rock protegeParadime andD12 , and has also appeared on tracks withSlum Village andRoyce Da 5'9" .In the spring of 2005, Hush released his debut single "Hush Is Coming" which featured
Nate Dogg on the chorus and appearances by Eminem, Obie Trice and D12'sSwifty McVay in the video.Hush released his debut album "Bulletproof" off Geffen Records in the summer of 2005. It featured a list of star guest appearances including Eminem, D12's Kuniva & Swifty McVay, Nate Dogg,
Talib Kweli and Bizarre.After the release he promoted the album by joining the
Anger Management III Tour, with fellow rap musicians Eminem,Stat Quo ,50 Cent , D12, Bizarre, Obie Trice,G-Unit ,Lil Jon ,Ludacris , Bobby Creekwater,Mase ,Mobb Deep , Pitbull and Olivia, among others.The Future (2007 - 2008)
In 2007, Hush gathered a few friends and started to expand his music to a higher level. He's currently been working on a new album, which will have influences from artists such as
John Lennon ,Jimi Hendrix ,The Beatles ,Ice-T ,Big Daddy Kane ,Kool G Rap ,KRS-One , Public Enemy,Led Zeppelin ,Run-DMC , David Axelrod,The Police , Incubus,Linkin Park ,LL Cool J ,Dr. Dre ,Snoop Dogg ,The Doobie Brothers . Though the track listing or the title of the new album has not yet been announced, the MC posted a few songs on his [http://www.myspace.com/hush Myspace page] .The songs are different from the music Hush has produced, having included elements such as guitar riffs and solos and a lot more keyboard and singing by new member, Cadillac Dale.

Hush attended Bizarre's "
Hannicap Circus " album release party.In 2005, Hush performed on
NBC 's season finale of "The Contender". He also had songs on almost every episode of the show. He is featured on the "" soundtrack, with a song called "The March."His single Fired Up (a clean version) was featured on the original soundtrack.
Since 2005 he has also appeared on the Spike TV Reality show "Murder" and has been trying to his expand his career in acting.
