The Tehran School of Political Science ( _fa. مدرسه علوم سياسی تهران), was one of the first modern institutions of higher education in Iran at the turn of 20th century. Located in Tehran, Iran, most the nation's political elite graduated from the School.
History
The "School of Political Science" (Madreseh-ye olum-e siyasi) was founded in 1899. It was run by the Ministry of foreign affairs(Iran). It later merged with the "School of Law" (Madreseh-ye alee-e hoquq), which had been established in 1918 to form "Faculty of Law and Political Science" of the University of Tehran in 1933.

*Ali-Akbar Dehkhoda, Dean of the School of Political Science, literary figure and founder of the Dehkhoda Encyclopaedia
