Bhavanisagar is a panchayat town in Erode district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India.

Demographics

As of 2007 India census, [GR|India] Bhavanisagar had a population of 1,00,000. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Bhavanisagar has an average literacy rate of 64%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 73% and female literacy of 54%. 9% of the population is under 6 years of age.
