Arang is a town and a nagar panchayat in Raipur District in the state of Chhattisgarh, India. It is situated near the Eastern limits of Raipur City. The Upsurge of Raipur in commercial and industrial Map of India have started fuelling enormous growth of Arang. A 4 Lane Express-way which connects Raipur to [Durg] is being extended to Arang. Thus Arang-Raipur-Durg expressway will be about 70 km long.

Demographics
