Prime College

Prime College is an IT, Management, and Science college, situated in Nayabazar (Khusibu) Kathmandu, Nepal. Since its founding in 2009, the college has established itself within the educational arena of Nepal. The college is currently offering courses for management and science, BBA, BIM, BBS and CCNA. All of the courses offered are affiliated with the Tribhuvan University of Nepal.

The college covers 5.25 ropanis of land in a city center and has 3 buildings, 35 rooms, 2 computer labs, a computer aided library, and an audio-visual room. The library currently has a collection of 3500 books, magazines and journals.It is the worst college i have studied in my life.the management gives priority to its own community and ignores the need of students.

The internal marking system is the worst of its kind. It has the system of marking not according to the performance of the student, but on the basis of their race and how close is the student with the management. There are no extracurricular activities in the college. They do not provide students sports other than basketball because they are afraid that other sports will make the students violent.

Their first priority is not sutdy but money. They give priority only to the freshers. As soon as you get to next semester you are treated as the biggest enemy of the college. There are some examples of their immoral behaviour. They stated that we only accommodate 30 students in one classsroom but that was not the truth. Saying that they cannot provide enough classroom to accommodate all sections so they have to combine all sections in a single classroom i.e somewhat 60 students. Also they shorthen those lectures periods which are expensive to be paid but they are worth paying. And instead they make the students get class from some unprofessional, untrained freshers teachers who are there to teach for some time being until they are headed abroad.

The worst part of all is the canteen. The canteen of Prime College is so unhygenic that a normal person get sick from the food provided from there. The menu is like a fossil found in the desert that does not change for years and decades. And the canteen is placed in so height that walking to the canteen make you feel so hungry that it does not really matter what is in the menu, you will eat whatever you find. And while the way down you will still be feeling hungry.

The drinking water is so impure. That you better only wash your legs covered with mud, that's the main purpose for placing the water jar. The parking is also worst of its kind. If 80% of the total students will be present in the college the college will be full of bikes.

There is a good suggestion for the management team of Prime College. If they want to run the college further with pride and goodwill they have to change their mentality. Be more visionary and decisive. And truly know that students are the one that make the college run. Not the college that make the student run.
